will be on view till May 29th, 2010.

The exhibition was opened by the President of the Academy of Fine Arts Prof. Frigyes König.

The exhibition is under the patronage of H.E. Finnish Ambassador, Mr Jari Vilen.

The Ari Kupsus Gallery has recently signed an agreement with the Academy of Fine Arts in regards to its intent to arrange art exhibitions for the Academy's most promising 4th grade students every May commencing this year. The works on display at the gallery were chosen by a jury out of approximately 300 works based on the portfolios submitted by the students. All the portfolios including the paintings not on display at this time will be presented during the exhibition period.  

The Ari S Kupsus Salon Concert Society has extended its charity activities from supporting of classical music students of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music to the support of talented students of the Academy of Fine Arts. In addition to the scholarships awarded to the music students at the Gala Award Salon Concert last February, this year four scholarships in fine arts will be handed over to promising art students of the painting faculty at the Academy of Fine Arts at the exhibition opening. 

H.E. Finnish Ambassador, Mr Jari Vilen donated and handed out one additional scholarship.
